Our Kid’s Karate program provides traditional Martial Arts training with an emphasis on character development.  Your children will learn from a group of caring instructors who monitor each child's indvidual progress. Not only do our children learn self-defense, they also develop very positive feelings about themselves and others.

There are many concerns with how our children are growing up in today's world. The pressures on our youth today are very different from when we were growing up. Children don't only have to worry about getting good grades and behaving, they have the constant battle of avoiding drugs, gangs, violence, bullying and peer pressure.

At Lawler's Kenpo Karate, we realize that in order to give a child a head start in life, they must possess certain skills to cope with today's challenges. Although self defense is both mentally and physically important, we cannot ignore the life skills and mental benefits that Martial Arts training can teach children.

What our parents and students have to say about our programs:

" Lawler's Kenpo Karate improves self esteem and self discipline, while fostering respect for one-self and others "      Ty Blocker, Police officer and parent

" Kenpo Karate has offered my children the opportunity to develop and enhance their self-confidence and self-discipline, and has proven to be a valued part of our day to day activities. With Mark Lawler's Teaching Methods, and the high level of expertise that he and his staff provide, I would not hesitate in recommending Lawler's Kenpo Karate to anybody interested in learning the art. "         Ed Howe, Student parent

" My daughter Lindsey and I really enjoy taking karate lessons from Mr. Lawler and his staff. Since joing Mr. Lawler's school our basic skills have greatly improved as has our love for the sport. I'm sure other mothers would enjoy taking karate with their kids if they would give it a try. Not only are you learning the art of karate, you really get a good workout and you have an interest you can share with your child "
